Not sure what to say?

I was so very blessed to have such a wonderful older brother. Now, I am still very blessed being part of his wonderful family and heirs. Lots of love you all of you, Joyce, Rick, Jen, Sue and Steve and all of your children and grandchildren including Tom's girls and children.

John visiting me in TX when I broke my hip

Thinking of my brother toady. I was so blessed to have a wonderful older brother along with the rest of my wonderful family.
John helped me in every way he could and was someone I could look up to and now have his super family of heirs for my family.
John was also very active in his high school and was President of his senior class of 1949 at North High School, Worcester, MA and editor of the North High School magazine.

Love and prayers for everyone who misses John,

By the time I first met John, he had already accomplished twice as much as what most of us will in our lifetimes. That didn't stop him from continuing to add to the lives of others. I was among the many beneficiaries of his advice, counsel and, often, not-really-deserved praise. I can understand why he was so successful as a businessman, friend and family member. He inspired and he motivated.

I am sorry to not have known John, but I have had the absolute honor to know his son Rick here in Charlotte. What an incredible legacy John has left in his son (grandkids and great-grandkids). Rick is thoughtful, faith-based, data-driven, loves life, family centered, and always helping and coaching others. I see so many similarities that honor John's legacy. - David Head

John was a wonderful man, generous, intelligent and easy to talk with in conversations that were stimulating and fun. His family adored him and he them.

Best Dad ever!! My rescuer!!

John was an intelligent, attractive man with a great sense of humor. He loved his family and was loved by them. He made people feel at ease and in conversation asked questions to go beneath the surface to learn more. I enjoyed those conversations in our infrequent times together. I considered him a friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Susan, Bobby and family. Your dad/grandpa was a true gentleman, and he'll be missed in our neighborhood. May God grant you comfort and consolation. Love, Lorrie

May the God of all comfort and mercy grant the family hope. Jeremiah 29:11
