Not sure what to say?

My sincerest sympathy to the entire Partington family and extensive extended family. John was a giant in the law enforcement community. He was a true leader and innovator:a consummate gentleman and exemplary citizen of the entire Rhode Island Community. I am sorry that my trial schedule prrevented me from attending John's funeral Mass at the Catherdral....God Bless John and his family

My condolences to your family. I met John when I was young Deputy Marshal and new to the Marshal Service. John was a mentor, fine law enforcement officer and public servant. He was one of the U.S. Marshals BEST. He will be remembered and missed! Respectfully, Gary DiMartino, Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal Concord, NH

Scott,
I read of your Dad's passing. I remember him coming into "Casablanca" with you back in the early 80's. He was always so handsome! My thoughts are with you and your family...my sympathies to all of you.

Scott and Family, My deepest sympathy in the passing of your father.
Barbara Murphy Hill

Scott and family,
I met your Dad in 1965 on a detail in Swampscott, Ma. Our professional paths crossed for years and I always admired his foresight, honesty and integrity. Our careers took us different ways but I always considered him a friend. The good guys lost another soldier and he will be missed. You should be very proud of his accomplishments. May the peace of our lord, Jesus Christ, rest on you and your family now and always.
Bob Christman - Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal...

To the Partington family,
You have my sincerest regret of John's passing but on the other hand, I am happy he has gone to his maker, leaving all his trials, tribulations and health problems behind him.
An old acquaintance,

Dear Scott and Family
I first met your Dad in 1965 and I was blesed to have met such a outstanding person who was a professional in every way. I was privileged to work with John for approximately 5 years in the witsec program and learned from him things you could not find in a book. I know he will be missed by all who knew him. God Bless you all.
Jim Crawford,Retired Inspector, 1986 U.S.Marshals Service
