For now, I will miss my friend. I find solace in knowing he is in good hands, with friends and family. I look forward to our next meeting. Pat helped me immensely by simply being supportive when I needed it most in the late 1970's and early 1980's. Many good memories in town, on the mountain, at Jamboree and the Christian Science Reading Room.

I'm a better man for knowing and learning from Pat in Scouting. His love for the program and dedication to the ideals of the Scout Oath and Laws were exemplified in everything he did.
Pat was surely one-of-a-kind, and his Spirit will live on.
