I have MANY wonderful memories of my brother John. As I grew up he always seemed to be my protector, especially from the follies of my brother Wayne, who is also very dear to me. My greatest memories though are the ones from the summers on the farm. From milking cows to digging worms for fishing, we were a threesome. One of my funiest memories was catching a huge snapping turtle that I thought was a monster. We laughed and laughed that day. He was always there for me through wonderful and...

Christmas Eve 2004 is a bit different this year withouth a call to my Brother. Still he will remain in our hearts and thoughts forever.Merry Christmas John !

I'll have to say this was the most uplifting Christian burial service that I've ever attended. It only made me feel sad that I didn't know
John better. It was truly a celebration of his life not passing. Everyone showing up was a real indication of their love and support
for you and Suzanne and I, too, was impressed at the effort of the out-of-staters. That's what family is for I think. We all love you
guys too.

I am fortunate to have a lifetime of memories of my Father. But one of my favorite took place when I was about 14. Our family had taken a trip to Florida, to do the whole theme park thing. The moment we got on the plane, he put his arms up, as if he was on a roller coaster. He did this every chance he got through the trip. At first, he got a few laughs from us, then it started to get old, but he explained to me that if he just kept doing it, it would become funny again. And he was right. By...

John and I both shared the same birthdate, if I remember correctly, June 29th. Although I was older we always were aware of this birth date time. It is with regrets, that I will not have this thought of sharing our birthdate, but rather, I will remember him in my prayers.

I remember John best on Monitor, in the basement, one of the many nights we would visit. He would always be playing the Beatles & I remember many debates about some of their more controversial lyrics & albums. I also remember one time when he went back to Northern after the summer session, Corrine & I went with Uncle John & Aunt Jean to take him back. That was so exciting! Although I didn't see him often these past few years, I will always have fond memories of the years growing up & visiting...

John, we knew you as Wayne's brother from their wedding and stories of your neat restaurants and your visits to their home. After the very special celebration evening and the church service, we felt like the rest of the years were filled in as far as being a neat brother, husband and friend to Sue and father and friend to your children, and mentor, chef, teacher and friend to those whose lives you touched. You not only served wonderful food, you served and loved everyone who came your way....
