I knew John at Iowa--long ago, and I haven't seen him since, but I followed his career, and I am deeply saddened by his death. Love to him and all his family.

he and Dick acted in a play of mine in Iowa that went to off broadway. They were wonderful, and these many years later their performances are still etched in my memory. Loved them both. Still do.

I just received a note from Ken Beachler with the LSJ article & obituary about John Peakes . I have such great memories of John, Judy, Richard, the BHT, Lansing - what a difference they made for that city!
Please know he lives on in many hearts ...what an extraordinary person he was. Fond greetings to the family; I know you will miss him so very much.
