Not sure what to say?

John was a good friend and always loved to share his music.

John and I shared first and middle names - John Victor. We served in Iraq together and he was the keyboardist for the worship services I conducted for the troops as a Lutheran Army Chaplain. His hymn lyrics were wonderful! Loved him so much Rest in Peace J. Victor

He was quite a brilliant friend. Back in the day, we walked the streets of Chile together. I helped him land a job at the Curch Office Building. RIP my loyal friend John.

He was my grand pa I never knew him but my dad His only son talks about him a lot

My life has been blessed by this wonderful man; especially the words of his hymn: Behold the wounds. It comforts me as I read these words in preparation for the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper. I’m very grateful...

The last I heard from John was the great euloy written by his friend, Janice Kapp Parry. John was a wonderful man, and served with me for many years on the Salt Lake County Aggies board. He was a thoughtful, talented man, and often shared his music with me. What a great example of love and courage, as he served his church, his country, and never waivered in his battle with cancer. He will truly be missed. Best to the family.

Just heard of the passing of this GREAT man. A leader, a friend, and an inspiration to all of us that had the privilege to serve alongside of him.

As a child, John was a prankster, loved to "play Army" with his brother, and was a loyal and fierce protector of his younger sister. As a man, he had a goofy sense of humor, served his country and loved his wife and children. Je t'aime, mon frere.
