our hearts are so heavy and yet we smile as we envision Sheila wrapping her arms around John as he joins her in heaven..his light will never go out as we can never remember John without seeing his contagious smile and positive attitude..John was God's example to us that we go on in life no matter how the cards may fall and make the best of our lives..John truly did! -Barbara and Larry Mesimer

John was always a sweet and caring person. His mom was my cousin. At family dinners John John would always be the center of attention and grab the spirit of each and every one of us. His smile was contagious. He will be missed by all who knew him. Love to all the family.

"Yee-Haw" is what sticks out in my mind when I think of John. That's the way he would leave Cabarrus Workshop everyday...it was his way of saying, I'm leaving now, see you tomorrow. He used to talk about having seen the gates of heaven when he had his accident. Now he finally gets to walk thru them.
