Not sure what to say?

Hoke was my mentor and was a major influence in my life and career. I miss our conversations and laughter. Rest in peace my friend.

I read all of these comments again and enjoyed the photos. Then I cried again. I miss you Hoke. Two years later mother (Rosa) left us and then Martha, leaving me as matriarch. I preferred you 3 to be here guiding us and being the glue that kept us together. I miss your laugh and you telling us about your girls. Love you, Hoke.

I will always remember and miss Hoke who was a dear friend to me and our entire group that would always watch Alabama games together. I think of you often and will remember you and your smile always

Dear Suzanne and Mary Beth,

I'm heartbroken to learn of your father's death. He was such a good friend of mine for so many years. It's hard to think I'll never get another call from him saying that he's in town, and that we need to go get Chinese food.

Thanks for putting the notice in the Atlanta paper.

We did some reminiscing many times over the phone and when we visited him in Birmingham. I will miss that. I was afraid that something was wrong when he had not called for a few weeks. I just figured that he...

Margo Perkins (Vann Sr.) I first remember this very good looking guy introduced to me as "my uncle Hoke" younger than me by five years! What a riddle to figure.. This was the beauty of the "Perkins"..XOXO
