I knew Johnny when we were kids. We lived across the street (Truman Street) from him and his family. They were wonderful neighbors and I have great memories of the time I spent with all of them. John and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I didn’t know John (my uncle) as well as most of you since my mom and dad (Al and Del) raised me and my sisters in Minnesota. The memories that I do have are very fond and strong in my mind. When I was younger every year we went to Indiana to visit Grandma and the rest of the family. Visiting with uncle John was always the greatest time.
