Not sure what to say?

I am saddened by the fact that I will not be able to attend my dear brother's funeral due to the weather conditions. However, I will be there in spirit joining all of you in prayer.

I loved my brother deeply....he was my only sibling and I am thankful for all of the fond memories I have of him. He will always be alive in my heart.

To his family and his special friend, Debra, you have my deepest sympathy. I will keep all of you in my prayers. May God's peace be with you.

To The Family of John Peters: I have had the pleasure of meeting John "Jack" Peters when we lived in Pine Hills together & would run around with his son John. I just saw Mr. Peters not long ago...he was a patient of ours. My deepest sympathy to the entire family. He was an amazing person. It was definitely an honor to know him.

To the Family of Mr. Peters:

My deepest condolences on Jack's passing, I cannot express how much love, respect, and admiration I had for Jack. Unfortunately,I will be unable to attend the services on Friday. Jack was truly an amazing individual who holds a special place in my family’s heart. His inspiration and positive attitude kept me going in my darkest time. His humor and wit will be with me forever. My best to all of you.

Jack's sense of humor, his uplifting phone calls and friendship will be greatly missed. Having him in my life has been an inspiration and a blessing.

"Thank you" to everyone for your caring and support at this time. It's wonderful to hear from so many people that will remember "Jack" for many different reasons. One for sure will be this snow storm. He would love to be telling this story to everyone! I miss him so much and my tears continue to flow but I was blessed to have been loved by him and to love him in return.

Jack was not only a great teacher and friend, he actually managed to get apathetic high school students (for example, myself) excited about local politics. He was all about getting out into the great wide open to learn through experience...the most important message an educator can bring. Deepest sympathies for the family and highest respect for a life well-spent. - Andrew Pease, YS Class of 88

My thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Peter's family and the long list of friends that he made along the way. I'll always remember you sitting in your favorite chair and sharing your stories with us, treating all of us as if we were your own. Lord knows we probably got on your nerves, but you always let the door open to us. You're a good man and will be sorely missed!!

Adding my condolences to the many... Mr. Peters was a wonderful teacher and man and will be missed by many. We were blessed to share time with him and to learn Latin in his class during some of his first few years at our HS.

My heart aches with saddness and the tears fall freely.
But I will always remember all the times on the boat "GREYBEARD". And him yelling at the rain one sunday morning and you know what it stopped raining.

Grey skyies in the morning sailors warning....Grey skies at night sailors delight. I will never forget that and every sunset I will remember you Jack. I loved you like you where my own father, you will always be with me.
