Not sure what to say?

I first met John when he started volunteering at the Museum at Portland Head Light. Fridays became my favorite day of the week, that’s because that was the day John was there. He always had a cheery hello to me and all the tourists that walked through the door. A fond memory of have of him is helping him pick out a tee shirt that we sold in the gift shop. I miss you John. Fridays are not the same without you

John, who was Jackie in the 1950's, was an emergency kid sitter for me when my relatives could not, or would not watch me. Even as a teenager, he was a class act. I thank the Lord that I had such a great cousin.

I´m so sorry to hear about the passing of John. We were classmates at Southington High Class of 1961 and I have fond memories of him. In later years we spoke fondly of our Italian heritage growing up in Southington and even exchanged receipes for our beloved Italian pepper biscuits. Whenever I saw him at a class reunion he would always ask if I had made any pepper biscuits recently. Rest In Peace John . My condolences to your family.

So sad to hear of the passing of John. I got to know John while working at Portland Head Light. John was a volunteer there and I use to tell him how Friday was my favorite day...it was the day John was there. I use to love to go into the museum and catch up with him. I will miss him. Condolences to his family

I was very sorry to hear John had passed. He was a great mentor and friend of mine. I think Jerry hit the nail on the head as far as John's career as a salesman. He not only cared about his job but everything in life. I met John P (That was his given name at OS) when I started at OS. He took the young guy under his wing and became a life long mentor to me. No matter my position or the situation he was always there to give me advise on the situation. Regardless if I needed the advise or not it...

I first met John Petrillo on a Sunday afternoon in September 1961 at St. Ambrose College in Davenport, Iowa. The school placed two Italians from the East Coast together as roommates. Little did I know their decision would change my life. We roomed together through most of our time at St. Ambrose, and our group of close Ambrose friends—John, John, Tom, Charlie—has remained close over these many years. We visit each other when we can and we talk weekly.

In many ways, John and I...

I am very sorry to hear about John's passing. He will be missed tremendously by his family and friends. What can you say about John other than he was the best (by far) salesperson the truck equipment industry ever saw. He just wasn't a salesperson HE CARED! John helped us and went out of his way to obtain the OS line for us when we started Intercon. He had more to do with our success than he could ever know. I tried to meet with John just 3 weeks ago but he was too weak. I wished I had just...

I am very sorry to hear I always used to love his visits to to Marie and Vinny as he was passing thru and stay for dinner and of coarse Biscuits.

I'm sorry to hear of John's passing. He was a high school classmate and neighbor friend of my husband in Southington.
