Not sure what to say?

Mr. Petrone was my music teacher at Kennedy Jr. High, and in life as well. He told a story in class about "Johnny" and held a piece of paper up. For every bad thing that happened, he ripped a piece of the paper off, until barely anything was left. It was a lesson I try hard to remember. We have no idea what is happening in someone´s life. Sunshine week still makes me smile. Every time I hear a singer say without chu instead of without you I cringe a little. It was something I remember him...

Dr. Petrone was my teacher back in the 70´s. He made such a positive difference in my life and most certainly he nurtured my love of music. I am forever grateful.

Dr. John... I just wanted to let you know how much you are missed. It´s been hard going forward musically I know you´d want me to continue singing and sharing my God-given talents but I sure miss your God-given talents. You´re an amazing accompanist and musician in person you are so greatly missed, I am starting back finally after a long hiatus in disbelief that you have left us I know you wanted to see your mother Mary Petrone once again up in heaven. I am praying that your family and...

Godspeed cousin John.

Praying for you that you have peace and wonderful memories.

Thoughts and prayer to his family and friends

John and I worked together for many years. Not only did I learn so much from him as a musician, but I'll always cherish what a talented, funny, and inspirational gentleman he was. I knew whenever I got a call to work with John that the evening was going to be a good one! Between the jokes, the talk of cars, the comments on life, and the excellent piano accompaniment, I enjoyed every last gig with him. He will be sorely missed. My sincere condolences to Diane and the entire Petrone family.

There are some people that make our lives better just by knowing them. John an Diane are the epitomy of such people. You will be sorely missed John.

I had the opportunity to play with John on numerous gigs - it was always a joy working with him. Prayers to his family. RIP John
