Roxane, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. You are in our thoughts and prayers. I know we haven't seen each other since high school. You were truly an amazing friend and person, and I'm sure you learned that from him. Our deepest sympathy to you and your entire family.

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.

My only experiences with John unfortunately were at work. I've known John for almost 20 years. I always respected how hard he worked and how much he cared about what he did. He was always "Johnny" to me. I'll miss you Johnny!

Dear John;
Since our Clay's Park picnic together in 2005 we have kept in touch. You'd call me about your tests for your health, I'd call you to see how you were coming along after Chemo treatments and always ask if I could do anything for you. I thank you for being such a great father to my nieces and nephew, the children my sister gave you. You will be missed by everyone in our family and all who ever knew you. I will miss our conversations.

Dear John,
It was great seeing you at the family picnic and at your birthday party and shareing old times and good times. You were always good to my sister's children, you were MORE than a step dad, you had become their father. I was very glad that you were awake when I saw you at the hospital. I had a chance to say hello and my good bys, you will truly be missed. As Paul said, in the bible, "Absent from the body, present with the Lord".
