Not sure what to say?

Dad I love and miss you so much. I'm so glad to have met all your co-workers and to hear all the wonderful things they had to say about you, I am just so glad you had so much love in your life. You were my dad and I will always miss you and wish I could just have one more hug!

I had the pleasure of working with John for 15 years. I treasured his friendship and will miss him dearly. I pray GOD be with his family through this time of sorrow.

It was always a pleasure to work with John when he came to the Mt Sinai ER. He was a good caretaker to those who were sick. He was loved and respected by all the ER Staff. It is very sad that he did not live to enjoy the golden time of his life. My sympathy to his family for their sad loss.
The previous postings speak to the good man that John was.

Many have passed through the portals of EMS and are lost in the vast numbers but some stand out; the memory of them embossed by professionalism, compassion and brotherhood. I, long ago, was privileged to work with John and will remember him as one who "stood out". I am saddened by your loss and will keep you in my prayers.

I WENT TO SEE MY FRIEND WHO I MET IN 1972
WE BOTH WENT THROUGH THE GOOD TIMES AND THE BAD I HAVE NOT SEEN HIM IN ABOUT A YEAR BUT I WILL ALWAYS REMEBER HIM AS MY FRIEND. REST WELL MY FRIEND

We love you Dad and Grampa John. We are deeply moved by reading these comments, and also speaking with many of the individuals who share the same feelings of love, friendship, respect, and admiration. What an honor to have known such a man. We will miss you terribly but will always cherish many beautiful memories.

Just a couple of "street medics" (circa 1985)

John Taylor Petti was both mentor and friend. We worked and partnered together during the better part of the 1980's at "Medic 9." John was one of those rare individuals that come along only once in a while but when they do they impact the lives of everyone they touch. John was such a man. His personality and character were such that you couldn't help but like, admire and respect him. He was someone I always looked up to and still do, even in memory. Knowing him as I did I know that he...
