John E. "Jack" Phemister

Jack was a neighbor when I was growing up in Sherwood. He and Allie had a wonderful home where they could watch the birds and other wildlife. They aleays welcomed us and I have fond memories of the times we spent together.

I grew up living next to Jack, when he and Ali lived on their farm in Sherwood. He always enjoyed teasing me about one time when he came to hawl hay off my fathers property and I told Jack he was doing it all wrong. Jack laughed and laughed about the little girl (I was at the most 8 years old), telling him how to hawl hay!

I remember, as a child, the swimming in the lake at Oswego and the camping trips to Mt. Hood with all my cousins when Allie and Jack lived on Pine Valley Rd.
