Not sure what to say?

I consider myself very blest indeed for having befriended Fr. John while living at Holy Name Parish West Roxbury. In a time of great sadness for our family, this absolutely deeply devoted Servant of The Lord helped us more than words can say. He was a truly special Priest of God whose love and deep concern was so obvious. I know now I can pray to him still for anything I need. Peace and Love Dearest Friend Father John.

Dearest Father Philbin, married us 40 years ago. His priestly qualities were so beautiful. He was so humble, devoted and loving. He is a role model for every priest. We will never forget him. Im absolutely sure He is very happy. Peace dear Father Mary & Bill Locke.

Father, you will be missed.
my family has been a member of this church since its beginning
and has grown with the church. due to the faith you have instilled in us through your role model teachings and personal concerns for our family situations through the years.
I have a great faith in our Lord.
I believe we each have our own purpose and he calls us home in his time.
He has called you home to rest.
You gave so much of yourself to this community....

Father Philbin was the embodyment of humility, dedication, caring, and love for others. What a truly beautiful human being, and a priestly priest. He tatght me and my wife so much. His picture hangs in our living room in a place of honor.Farewell good and faithful servant. You were a blessing to behold. We will never forget your love.Martin & Mildred Thompson

I treasure the wonderful memories of this extraordinary priest who touched our lives during the years we called Wellesley home. Father John was a holy and humble priest who truly represented Christ to all. Whenever we returned to mass at St. John's through the years, he would always grin at John, Christina and me and say, "Welcome home." What a glorious welcome must be his in heaven!

God Bless you, Fr. Philbin. You have left many fond memories and brought many people closer to God. You have always and will always be special in my heart.
