John was my accordian teacher for several years at the Gene Beecher Studio in South Euclid. 70 years later I still play the accordian. Thank you John and may you RIP.

I will always be in debted to the man who not only showed me the meaning of hard work but to a man who came to this country and fight for the freedoms that we so humbly have today. I love you Papa and "you know this"

Our friend, John Picciano, was a great man! He was a talented man who was passionate about his country, his family, his friends, and
especially his God. Johns greatness
came from the fact that he was a giving, caring, loving, and sincere man who could always be depended upon in time of need. Today, John
is in a better place and free from pain. However, we will miss him, we
will miss his spirited conversations, his fervent sincerity, his friendship, his keen insights, and the...

Loving, maddening, generous, instructive, playful..."Papa" could be all of these. But he was without guile, honest and indefatigably hard-working; he was a man of honor.

We're now left with only cherished memories, but they'll never wane; we're better for having had him in our lives. The world is now a poorer place, but the great beyond is immeasurably richer.

Love to you, "Papa"...we'll meet again...

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

This wonderful man could never find any reason to hate a single part of life, as he embraced all people both good and bad! I will very much miss my Papa and all his "lectures" and stories! I love you, Papa and you will be sadly missed by all of your family. I am very blessed to be a part of this family and to have you as my grandfather. You were a man of peace, wisdom, and love. You were always looking for any of us "sheep" who may have strayed from the "flock" (our family). May you continue...
