My deepest condolences to the family.
JCP left his mark on the office of the Corporation Counsel. I remember him as a tough, dedicated and highly skilled litigator. He was one of the best attorneys representing the City of Newark. Rest in Peace.

John will be missed. I only knew John from golf but he is one of those guys you will never forget. Outspoken? Yes. Cantankerous? Yes. Not afraid to ruffle your feathers? Definitely yes. But one of the brightest and most generous guys you would ever want to know.
