Read MoreJohn and I were colleagues for a number of years in the Dallas Regional Office of the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. He was a popular supervisor who always had time to talk with and assist his staff. He was a good friend and I shall miss him. I am thinking about his extended family and send my deepest sympathy.

To the family of John Pinch my condolences. John and I worked together in BLS and when I was learning to play golf, he invited me over to his home and helped me understand the game. He was always full of life and wisdom. My Father died last year and also had Alzheimer's so I appreciate the encouragement for donations.

John was the best boss I ever had during my career at BLS. I tried to emulate John's management style once I was promoted to a managerial position myself and I know John's influence made me a better supervisor. John was also a great golf mentor who gave me many tips when we played a round together. My thoughts and prayers go out to John's family, he will be missed.
