John was born on February 18, 1930 and passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. John was a resident of Providence, Rhode Island at the time of passing. His funeral will be held on Monday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Bartholomew's Church, 297 Laurel Hill Ave., Providence. Burial with Military Honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

My mind is flooded with beautiful memories of the Pitocco family, members of which intersected my life when I was Pastor of St. Anthony's Parish. John was part of that friendship and Linda was the glue that held us all together! May John's long life here on earth earn him the new life in eternity. God bless you all with that peace that passes all understanding. I will offer Holy Mass for John and all of you who are feeling the pain of being separated from one you love.
