Jack and I were students at Fordham University.
After my Marine Corps service we again connected in New York City and Bay Head NJ. Marriages and career pursuits separated us until the early 80's. At that point we became amateur mountain climbers.
We hiked the Maroon Belles' loop and completed several other climbs. At the age of 63 we summited Mt Elbert (14,433 ft).
He will be missed.
