Not sure what to say?

I first met John in 1970 in NYC. He gave me my first job in the Copier industry when I really needed a job. I knew the moment I met John I wanted to work for him. I was young and without experience but he knew right away I would not let him down. Thanks to John's training and inspiration I spent my whole career as a copier products dealer. He was one of the first great independent parts distribuors in the industry.

My deepest condolences to the entire
Polek family.

John was a bright light in my life. May he rest in eternal peace.

I always enjoyed talking with John, he was a great and fierce competitor, and was truly one of a kind - they just don't make them like that anymore.
I will miss him.

Chris I was sorry to hear about your Dad. He was a leader in our industry His insight was groundbraking. He will be missed.

Chris, sorry to hear about your Dad. John was a great guy and a real professional. It was always a pleasure to see him and visit with him at an event. He set a great example for all of us...especially about how to professionally compete. Ray Wirtz, former Katun.

I have known John for over 24 years. He has been a tower of strength, enthusiasm, and courage We have been in touch throughout the years and spent time with him in South Beach, Southampton, and Essex Fells I saw him a few months ago and spoke with him on a weekly basis. His indomitable spirit lives in in all who knew him.

With deepest sympathy to his family,

Roni & Jack Ryger

John was a wonderful neighbor and dear friend to me and my family. Because Lou and I have two boys Dominic and Louis, like John, he always felt connected to us. He and all his summer play toys will certainly be missed on Juniper Lane!

A FRIEND IS ONE BEFORE WHO I MAY THINK ALOUD--RALPH WALDO EMERSON..John was indeed such a friend. We have often relected on our watching the sun go down in Wiesbaden Germany sipping on our very inexpensive Rose' Matues which young Captains could afford,or our family trips on the Rhein. John left the Air Force and I remained in the Air Force for 34 years including 24 years offar flung overseas assignments including 5 years in Berlin where John paid us a great time visit. Despite being at...
