Not sure what to say?

You don't know me but I found a tiny wooden boat with John's name along the shore in Napeague State Park. I knew this was a trubute to someone that that passed and was loved. I had to right it and send it back to sailing Napeague Bay. My condolences from a stranger on the beach.

So sad to hear of Jack,s passing. I worked for Jack at both RTVR, an old TV Rep firm and then again at Blair for 13 years. Comments about Jack being the smartest guy in the room, truer words were never said, and always a fine gentleman. My sincere regrets to Deven and family.

John was a wonderful man & friend for many years. We drifted apart but I have the fondest of memories of happy times spent together in Short Hills. I am so sorry to learn of his passing. My deepest condolences to Devon, AJ, Sam & John.

Jack was a good guy and so are the Poor family. Jack's Dad was a nice gentlemen who guided RKO General. Jack used to talk about his summer job in his youth reading LILCO meters. I knew Jack when we both worked at Blair Television

Jack was a great professional and person. Always the smartest person in the room. May he rest in peace. With great sympathy to his family.

I knew john from our early days in Garden City to our careers in media....wonderful memories along the way
A committed Brooklyn Dodgers fan !

Jack was a good man. May God bless you and your family. My sincere condolences.

An old friend. A man whose spirit , energy and intelligence embraced life. To Devon who I only met and the sisters who John liked and loved more than he let on , at least as a "kid", Nancy, Penny, Pam and Muffie , I wish you every comfort and only sweet memories.
