Not sure what to say?

I still think about John every so often. I was remembering the Ford Mustang car that he had. He waxed it often., He took great care of it. Today it would be worth many times it´s original price if he still had it. He always took care of everything. That was John. Being active in his church would be important to him. I will cherish our time together. My best wishes to his family and friends. Terry Kruse

John and I served together in the Air Force at Volk Field, WI. He was a good friend. I was transferred to Thailand and Vietnam for a year tour. I was a Crew Chief on an F-105 during my year there. Every mission my plane flew it went to Hanoi to bomb. I believe John was stationed in Germany. My wife and I met with John and his wife for lunch when they were traveling through Iowa City on I-80. It was nice to see them.

Dear Chris and family: So very sorry to learn about John's health challenges and recent passing. When they needed to sell their home, you offered to help me arrange a moving sale. You handled...

John was a wonderful man and a great coworker many years ago at SCJ. He was always so positive, and mostly smiled all the time. I was happy to see he had such a loving and full family life, I am so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in your fond memories of him.

Sorry to hear John passed away. Our sincere condolences to the Poorman family. Was a very nice guy and a pleasure to work with and for him at SCJ.

To Chris and the Poorman family, we are so sorry for your loss. Please accept our condolence. John was one of the best men I ever had the pleasure of knowing.. He was always kind, pleasant and helpful. The world is a better place because of John. He was loved by all and will be missed by all. There is not enough good words to say about him. Rest in peace my good friend.
