We loved Mr.Pope, and every time we peek in on him at Bethany (visiting Mary P.) he would always greet us with a smile and kind words. I know without a doubt that the moment he passed from this world, he was exactly where he always wanted to be. Firmly in the arms of Jesus. We will miss him dearly. Much love and prayers to your family.

Mr. Pope was such a sweet and kind man. My mother is at Bethany. Margaret Walden (memaw) and every time he saw me coming in the door with stuff in my hands. He would look up at me and asked me did I need any help. I would always answer him by saying no thank you Mr. Pope but thank you for offering. Thats so sweet of you to ask. My prayers are with his family now. For theres one more angel in heaven now. Claydean (Sonnys sister)

I only knew you through your sweet daughter, Cindy. She cared and loved you so very much for much and I know she will miss you deeply. But you are no longer in pain and are reunited with your loved ones in Heaven. May God give them the peace they need during this time of sorrow. Rest In Peace John.
