To the Popplestone family:
A great teacher for all of us in General Psychology our Freshman year at the U of Akron. He gave great lectures, and even on closed circuit TV you could tell that he loved his subject matter and wanted us to learn about Psychology and its principles. I will not forget him.

How fitting Dr. Popplestone's memorial is Homecoming weekend at the University of Akron. It's been over 40 years since I graduated, and I still remember watching him on TV and the "basic" life principles he taught us in General Psych.... Maybe he's why I got my MS in Counseling..... hmmm. Thank you for the memories.
