I will miss John's smile and the way he had of making each person feel important. It is a loss to everyone when such a kind, caring person leaves us too soon. My prayers are with all those whose lives he touched.

I love you so much as if you were my own father. I will never forget you. You will always be in my thoughts and my heart.

What a wonderful extraordinary man -
I got just a glimpse into John's life during the past year or so - and I am blessed for it. I can't imagine the difficulty in facing his illness, yet he faced it. I can't imagine his courage. But I do try to imagine it. He said he would continue to provide for his family as long as he could. And he did. I don't know how...courage and determination.
