We can't tell you how sorry we are for your loss. What a brilliant and loving individual who did so much very everyone. I can never begin to thank you enough for all you have done for my mother and us. Jack will be greatly missed, but most definitely, never forgotten. May God comfort you all at this time of sorrow and always.

I can't tell you how sorry I was to hear of your loss. My parents, Jim and Connie Richardson, live in your development and I attended St. Louis with Liz. My family will hold you all in our prayers. It's so hard, especially during the holidays.

Dear Aunt Loretta and all the Porters: God bless you and keep you during this sad but Grace-filled time. I know Uncle Jack went straight to heaven and took prayers for all of us with him. Your family is an incredible one. All my love,

I WAS SO VERY SORRY TO HEAR OF YOUR LOSS. I WORKED WITH DR JOHN FOR MANY YEARS AT ST VINCENT,HE WAS
ALWAYS HAPPY,ALWAYS TELLING JOKES, ALWAYS SO NICE TO THE PATIENTS AND TO ALL THE PEOPLE HE WORKED WITH. WHEN ANY ONE WAS SICK IN THE DEPT HE WOULD CHECK THEM OUT AND PRESCRIBE A MEDICATION FOR THEM. HE HAD A VERY INFECTIOUS SMILE I WILL REMEMBER YOU IN MY PRAYERS AND WILL NEVER FORGET DR JOHN PORTER.

Dear Porter Family -

I have nothing but the fondest memories of Dr. John Porter. He was a mentor, friend and boss at SVCH for many years. He was one of the best. I am so sorry for your loss.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and our condolences on their loss. We are encouraged by the thought that Dr. Jack will be in paradise with our Lord. I will remember fondly my baseball talks with Dr. Jack.
