Janette I am so sorry to hear of your fathers passing and I send condolences to you and the entire Porterfield family. He is with his beloved Helen once more in heaven... Fly with the angels.

John and Helen were great neighbors for the 17 years weve lived next door. Always giving advice and sharing their wonderful vegetables. My favorites were hearing "give this to your mom" as they handed a home grown goodie over the fence. Teaching me when to cut shrubs and trim back vines, and laughing at my lawn mowing mishaps. We will greatly miss him.. love to you all. Ty for sharing your mom n dad with us.
