I will always be grateful to Mr. Powell for always being there for my family. He was an awesome neighbor. He will be missed. My condolences to Tony and Mike. Rest in Peace.

I was so sorry to hear this happened, and I know he is happy in Heaven with his Father. We talked about that a lot during hospital and VA visits. I told him he reminded me of my own father; kind, loving and always talking about Jesus. John said he would be my Grandpa! He was a joy to be in church with all these years and I know he touched many of us with his kindness. God, please bless John's family in this difficult time.

Words cannot express how deeply sorry I am to learn of John´s passing. He touched so many lives in meaningful ways, and his influence was truly immeasurable
