I will never forget the first time I met John, actually both he and his dad. It was at the VFW in Naperville. What a handsome pair!
You always knew when those two came in to the canteen.
John was so proud when his mom and dad came in to town to visit. He wanted everyone to meet and get to know them. I loved John for the that. He was so attentive to his mother. "Money was no object."
