John Wallace Pyla

John Wallace Pyla, 57, of Valdosta died Wednesday, September 18, 2013 died Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at his home. He was born in Shelby County, Tennessee on March 18, 1956 to John Eugene Pyla and the late Betty Ann Butler Pyla. He lived in Jacksonville, Florida for many years before moving to Valdosta six years ago. Mr. Pyla was a Protestant and had been employed in sales and collections. Survivors include his wife, Martha Meads Pyla of Valdosta, his father, John Eugene Pyla of Jacksonville, FL, his brother, Stanley Pyla of Jacksonville, FL, his aunts and uncles, Donna and Carl Knopf of Baton Rouge, LA, Irvine and Alice Butler of Rinville, KY, Nancy and Jim King of Danville, KY, Lonnie and Janet Boots of Bear, DE, John and Betty Butler, Kathy Greene and her husband, Shirley and her husband all of Colorado, five sisters in law and two brothers in law, numerous nieces and nephews and his cousins, Robbie, Doug, Bryan, Linda and Lonnie Gene. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Ann Butler Pyla. Funeral services will be held at 4pm, Saturday, September 21, 2013 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home.
