Not sure what to say?

I did not know John but I know from reading about him, his fellow Marines loved him. And if I knew nothing else, that is enough. Mere words fall far short in expressing my gratitude for your service to country, your honor to the corps, your courage, and your sacrifice. Thank you for protecting my freedoms. That which exists in the hearts of others, lives forever. Rest easy American hero.

My heart, my thoughts and my prayers go out to the family of this young man. He lost his life so we can have freedom, Jesus did the same. Rest in Peace John R. Stalvey. Your name will be mentioned every Memorial day service I attend.

We won't forget

7 years ago today, the world lost one of its greatest heroes. 7 years ago today, I lost one of my greatest friends. John, you are thought of often, missed dearly and loved greatly. I told my class today, you will be the second person I hug in Heaven. Jesus will be first, of course. I love you, my friend, my hero! ~Love, Ray-Ray ;)

John:
I will see you on 10 November-USMC Birthday. I will bring you a Piece of cake and a Cigar!
