Not sure what to say?

I have never forgotten John, my mentor at Dartmouth Medical School. What an incredible man.I was the first one to receive the John Radebaugh Award at graduation. I would love to talk with a family member about him. Please contact me at: [email protected]. Thinking of you all as you cherish your memories of him.

Dear John Radebaugh´s family-I graduated from Dartmouth Medical School in 1992 and was inspired by my house calls elective with Dr. Radebaugh. I was also the first recipient of the John Radebaugh Community Service Award. I would love to share my stories about him with you. It may sound corny but he will always be my hero. Sorry for your loss

Already wrote an entry. Would love to know when the service will be. Laura Q. Thanks!!

Dr. Radebaugh changed my world when I did a family practice elective doing house calls and working in underserved clinics in NH in 1990. His passion for his work with the underserved was palpable and he taught me how to care for others using respect and a sense of humor to reach patients. I will never forget his patience, his calm and his love in caring for others.
I am sorry that I did not see him again after I left Dartmouth Medical School.
I know how much he loved his Dotty as he...

Another from the 'Greatest Generation' in God's care.
Thank you for your service.

I met John as a fellow attendee of the Portland Friends (Quaker) Meeting where we discovered a mutual history of attending the Hanover NH Quaker Meeting many years before. His strong social justice beliefs informed his actions in working with Cesar Chavez and the American Farmworkers' movement, as well as in his advocacy for health care for all. Read his autobiography and you will be able to take the measure of a good man.

A working class hero of the first order! I will never forget his presentation to the Southern Maine Labor Council where he brought the short hoe used by farm workers and played the harmonic.
