Not sure what to say?

I knew John when we both worked for Media General Broadcasting. John was in Jacksonville and I was located in Tampa. John was exceptional broadcaster and a wonderful human being, along with his charming wife Janice. Last I saw John was in Las Vegas, probably NAB convention. He and Janice were very happy and had ownership in two TV stations, one in the Northern Plains and the other in the South West. I always admired John and appreciated in integrity. He was an excetional artist and I'm...

No one will remember, but before Mr. Radeck was B'wana John, he was Sheriff John. I was his pickin and grinning deputy for some time. He also allowed me to play at the birthday parties, which aired Saturday mornings. I remember finishing up the cake from Smoak's bakery.I was around 14 at the time and WJBF was located in North Augusta in an old house. Mr. Radeck is truly my most unforgettable character and I will always remember him fondly. I now have a very ill wife and a severely handicapped...

Rest in Peace Bwana John! You made a lot of children's early memories wonderful. God Bless You on your journey.

John was a statesman, a gentleman, and a true broadcaster. An excellent friend too. I will miss him greatly

Thinking of you and sharing your sorrow!
What a great gentleman! You will be missed!

My sincere sympathy to the Radeck family. Mr. Radeck brought a lot of joy to me when I was a young person through his kid show alter ego Sheriff John. Thank you Mr. Radeck. May you rest in peace.

R.I.P. Bowanna John, you are unforgettable. You touched many lives in a positive way. I am saddened by your absence but your presence will always be with us.

My sincere condolences I enjoyed working with Mr. Radeck during our 60th anniversary promo campaign at WJBF. He was as sharp as ever when the camera started rolling
