Not sure what to say?

John Ramsey was my professor at Old Dominion University. His enthusiasm for his subject matter was contagious and i am indebted to him for steering me toward my major. He was tough, but fair. He was NEVER boring and he imparted a life-long love of political science within me. And let's face it folks. NOBODY rocked the crew-cut like John Ramsey! Joe Mishkofski ODU'84

John Ramsey was one of the best teachers I ever had. His organized, no nonsense but fair approach to teaching was so excellent that it is difficult to describe. I learned more in his introductory political science class than I ever thought possible. He wrote the textbook that was used. I have never had a more useful book. Sadly it was lost in a move and I have not been able to find a replacement source. In every political discussion that I hear he comes to mind. My condolences to his family....

Professor Ramsey was an incredibly talented and energetic teacher. I took his class on research assuming it was going to be easy. It was a difficult course that taught me more than I thought it would. The course was so good that still have the notebook from the course. Professor Ramsey left an incredible impression on me that continues to last over 30 years later.
