Not sure what to say?

I cannot believe it has been 10 years since you left us for the comfort of Jesus' arms. I miss you every day. I talk about you, to you, every day. I pray that Auntie Norma found you and you helped her pass to the other side. I love you forever and I know you watch me from above. I felt your love when I went to WA to see Auntie Joyce. You are a wonderful father and such a blessing to me and many others. Please continue to watch over Chris too.

I miss my daddy's hugs, kissed, and unconditional love. He was not only a good teacher to me and others, but a good man who gave of himself, rarely got angry, and had so much love to give his children, I always have a rough September. Our birthdays we shared to your passing his hard on my daddy. I am doing well, most of the time, but you are always a thought away, every day. I love you forever and look forward to seeing you again.

I miss my daddy everyday. I hold my memories close to my heart. Last weekend we went camping. We say lightening bugs. It reminded me of my childhood when we would go camping. It started me thinking about who put the tent up. My daddy was not a physical man but he must have because us kids were too small, unless my brothers helped. Daddy, you now have your precious Freddy with you and most of you family of origin. I hope you are relaxing in God's love but remembering to watch down on...

Every year around our birthday to the anniversary of Daddy's passing is hard. I miss him so much. I am glad to know that he touched so many people in such a good way. That helps. He was an incredible daddy and an incredible teacher. He gave a lot of himself away and now it is his turn to relax and enjoy peace and Jesus!

I attended services at Unity for many years. John and Doris were brilliant leaders and made a tremendous contribution to us all.

Bishop John, I will never forget you. I am honored to have known you.

I first met Dr. John Rankin at the Unity Pyramid in the mid 70's. His teaching had a profound influence in the early years of my spiritual development. He brought the Word to life in my life. I continued studying under him when he started the Church of the Divine Presence. His teaching and the music led by his wife Bishop Doris were very important to me, and am thankful for his life and work. I am so glad to learn that his son is a minister of the Gospel.

Though for many years of my life people asked me if I would grow up to be like my dad I refused to admit it. Today I am a licensed minister preaching the Gospel. Dad I hope I can continue to make you proud.

When I was 15, I found Unity and John Rankin. He, and the wonderful group of people who went to Unity in Houston, restored my hope that organized religion could be a positive influence on life and society instead of a negative, destructive influence such as I had experienced in so many other churches, which I had (in my teenaged curiosity) explored.

Rev. John focused on ways to attain spiritual growth and awareness within one's self. He led us to find ways to find peace within and to...
