To The Family Of John "Jack" Raup:
I was just thinking of Mr. Raup last week. He was by far one of my favorite teacher. Very kind Gentleman With A Huge Heart. And His Singing... Waterloo, Waterloo...
My Prayers go out to your family and I hope you all recover from your loss. Thanks Mr. Raup, You made me believe that I could build anything from a bookend, a house, a garden and most of all A Wonderful Life!

It is with deep sadness and regret that I hear of Mr. Raup's passing. He was a genuine character, and one of my most favorite teachers. As long as I live I will always remember the joy that he brought to his work, and every time I hear this Spike Jones classic, I will always think of him first...
