Dear Mrs. Ravin, Lynn and Judy,
I am sadden and sorry for your loss. I will always remember "Doc" with a twinkle in his eye and his full of zest 'drop ins' at our neighboring terrace homes! It's hard to imagine him gone but I'm glad we got to talk on my last visit to Pa! I'll remember the stories told by my Dad about his friend
'Swifty' from the old Glen Lyon days! I hope they reconnect now in that happy hunting ground in the heavens! I send you prayers and peace and may your grief...

To The Family of Dr. Ravin,

Dr. Ravin was my dentist for a very long time until he retired. He was a kind, very thoughtful man that was well liked by many. My thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family during this most difficult time.

To the family of Dr. Ravin,
I had been a patient of the Dr. from the time I was in junior high until he retired. He was a fantastic doctor as well as a great man. He will be missed.

Dear Joan and Family, Our condolences to you and your Family. We have many fond memories of our lives. John was always an outgoing, helpful person, always looking for ways to help others. He leaves many thoughts of gratitude in people whom he has moved along in positive ways. I have nice memories of us in little Glen Lyon. John "Swifty" Ravin was the fastest man on the H.S. football team. He was the leader and did everything right for the good of the team. We had a nine person "club"...

Remember all that was beautiful. I know he and Dan are talking sports! Prayers and love.

Dear Joan and family,
My condolences on the loss of your loved one. Dr. Ravin was my dentist from 1971 until his retirement in 1994. I missed him greatly when he retired and never have found a dentist I liked as much. We shared many stories about fishing & hunting, great northern pike, nature in general, as well as many jokes. I was from upstate New York, a transplant to PA, and he always made me feel at home. Occasionally, after his retirement, I would bump into him somewhere in the area...

Joan, Doc will be missed. I looked up to him as my mentor and for thoughtful inspiration. I enjoyed his surprise visits at the office to see how I was doing or to tell me a really bad joke. He will be missed but will remain alive in the stories of his patients which I still hear on a daily basis.
