John G. Reckamp

The best I can say is that I loved John. During the last six months of his life we spoke on the phone every day at length. It was a special time for both of us, which I will always treasure. Living in California kept it difficult to see each other often. We made up for that in our engaging conversations during his last months. I will miss those times, but am grateful for what we enjoyed. I knew John from the Board of Review as an assessor. He was always logical & fair. He always had a smile. My condolences to his family & friends.

John was an amazing man. I had the honor of caring for John through the visiting angels. I enjoyed our talks and playing cards with him. John and Ria will always hold a special place in my heart.
