John was not only an amazing musician, he was an even better person. Truly a gentleman and a beautiful, kind soul. I never had the honor and privilege of meeting him unfortunately, but I have been and will forever be a fan of his music. He wished me a happy birthday in 2022 on Facebook and absolutely made my day! I took a screenshot of the message and framed it. I will treasure his kindness and message always. May God bless you John and may you rest in peace. I'll see you in heaven one day......

I along with so many were shocked to hear of Johns passing. I did not know John as well as you all did but knowing him left such a profound affect. He was one of the most gentle real and true gentleman I have ever k own and that includes my family. He loved his family, friends, God and country . He also was very much in tune with his Italian culture. Our loss is heavens gain. God bless you John

John, you were friends with my dad Russ from Po-town for a long time. You lent your talent on some of his demos. I have those master reel to reel tapes given to me when he died. In 2015 when he died, you posted the nicest message to me about your relationship with my dad. He always loved you spoke of your many musical accomplishments. He called you "Skinny" ...I'm sad you are gone..one of a kind for sure! Thoughts and prayers are with your family. A truly good human being. Russell 3

John Regan was an incredible person, and always so very kind to me when I was a kid going to Frampton concerts with my mom. He made the experiences truly one of a kind every time. And I am so beyond thankful to have known him for the time that I did.

I believe i met John sometime in the early 70's. I used to live in Wappingers back then. Jokingly we gave him a nickname he never liked. Last time i saw him was some years ago at Mt Alvernia Retreat Center. We talked about music of course. John was more than just a great bassist and musician. He was a great human being. I am very sorry for your loss.
