"The Lord sets a father in honor over his family, a mother to guide her children..." Sirach Ch. 3. My condolences to Patrick, John, Rebecca and family on the passing of John. I will remember him at Mass on Friday. John and Noreen served so many people in health care in their careers. They were great parents and faithful people. I always enjoyed meeting John at Wegmans to catch up. May he rest in peace. FR. FRED BETTI SJ

A GOOD man......

I worked as a chaplain at Wende CF when John was in the RMU. I admired John's concern for those who were suffering. We were able to work together to bring a bit of compassion to men who were terminally ill in prison. He was able to live his faith in a challenging environment. May he rest in peace.

RIP

I was a surgeon at ECMC and worked at Wende surgery clinic. I later worked per diem at Angola and Gowanda prisons. Finally, I was Facilities Health Director at Groveland. John Regan was one of the finest individuals I ever had the pleasure of working with in the Corrections system.
