My dear friend Betsy, my heart is saddened by the passing of John. I first found out last night. Johnnie was a great great guy and a terrific husband and father and a cherished old friend. I share your lost. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your boys.

Michael, our prayers are with you. The memorial service was very comforting and positive. I told others that I know your father much better now because of the service. In the midst of this tragedy, I feel that I am closer to your whole family and that is what John would have wanted.
