I miss and love my nephew every single day. Seems like only yesterday, he was a rowdy little dude. He stayed that way the rest of his life. He lives on forever in my heart and thoughts. I can only attempt to be the man he was.

To the Reiners family:
May the comfort from family and friends continue to strengthen you, and may you find comfort in the words found in the Holy Scriptures: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love;

Dear Ronna and Jerry,
I'm so sorry for the loss of John. From what I've heard he was a great American Soldier. I never met him, but his picture and actions speak volumes.

Those of us in Alachua are saddened by the loss of John, but so happy to meet you. I know we all want to see much more of you. While many of us have loved ones who have been or are in harms...

I know there are no words to say at this time, except how sorry that I am. I truly feel your loss and pain. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. John will never be forgotten.

For you every single soldier
Those who served so honorable
Your life was forever altered
While I’m home safe and free
I stand with grateful admiration
I stand respectful and so proud
I know I’m only a civilian
And I don’t even know if it’s allowed

But I...
