Yes, John asked that I save the used candles for him, so he could make new candles to burn. Just two weeks ago I gave John a full box of 24, and have several that I wanted to give to him when he returned to church. I will burn them now in his honor. I will miss John dearly, but am glad he is home with the Lord in Paradise. Rest easy my dear friend, and hopefully, we will see each other again someday. My condolences to John's family and friends and to Fr. Manuppella, as John so treasured...

This is a cool option, he dedicated candles with a prayer to many causes and people. John would recycle old candles and burn throughout the house. He was very resourceful, :-). I also have a large rosary made from a recycled wooden beaded car seat cover. I think a lot of people in Camden or from our old church have them. I keep that oversized rosary on my bed post. Thank you for allowing me to share some stories about John in this manner.
