Not sure what to say?

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. It was a joy to work with Dr. Remo at Home Hospital. Even after I moved to Baltimore and called him a few times he was fun, always had great stories.

Heartfelt condolences to Jean, Jessica and Jeremy. I got to know and appreciate John during our many years of service on the Board of Trustees at Illinois Wesleyan. In that, as in so many things, John was an exemplary and inspirational servant and leader, an Alumnus and Trustee for whom the designation "Emeritus" was truly deserved and meaningful. He will be sadly missed at our Board meetings and his great service to his Alma Mater will forever be appreciated.

Jean and Family...My parents, Harold and Lillian Schimm were life long friends with "Bunch" and Vivian and they met in Phoenix, AZ on various occasions to visit together. When we were young, John, Tom and I had great fun together as our parents were either playing cards or just chatting. They stayed in touch through the years. Dad passed away in 1979 and Mom in 2007...I inherited the many drawings John sent to Mom each Christmas and will treasure them and have framed some as well..Thank you...

Great man to work with.
I send my prayers and love to his family.
He was very knowledgeable in his profession, a great asset to the medical community.

My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Remo, Jessica and Jeremy. May your fond memories bring you comfort and peace.

My condolences to the family. Dr. Remo was a true gentleman . I worked at Home Hospital for all the years he was there. I am so glad I got to visit with him at Dr. Gripe's memorial. He will be missed.

Dear Jean and family,
I was blessed to know John these many years, both in his professional capacity, at Covenant, and at Westminster. I pray that you will experience God's closeness, His love, and His comfort in these days and in the years to come.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. May the fond memories of your loved one sustain your family during this difficult time. May you also received comfort from what is started at 1Peter 5:6,7. Please accept my heart felt sympathy,.

John became such an enjoyable part of our "men's" coffee breakfasts on Tuesday mornings at Panera. He had a wealth of experience and was always able to add interesting comments no matter the subject. We miss him.
