What a shock it was to hear about the accident and Johnny's passing.
I'm glad to have had the chance to see him again after all these years. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

We're finding out that John was more of a celebrity than we thought. He was a moderator on the ESPN message board and expatriated from there when he became disenfranchised with management. He started his own Mariners blog and had a huge following. He had many kind remarks left on his blog when they heard of his passing. Even the trolls who loved to conflict with him respected him and said they will miss him.
