I knew John from Grandville High. While I only interacted with him a handful of times each year, I felt like I knew him far better. He had a great way of connecting with people and making you feel like his good friend during each interaction. I'll miss him. The world needs more people like John.

John was always the most positive and uplifting person, especially on the golf course. No matter how bad of a shot you would hit he was right there to tell you how good it was! He was truly a great man who always saw the best in everything, thank you for your service and your friendship you will be greatly missed!

John was a great kid and friend to my son Jess. They bowled together in high school and later on in a league. John always had a smile on his face. He will surely be missed. Pat Baldwin
