Not sure what to say?

I thought of John today and what a kind, caring person he was. John was always very nice to me and l had much respect for him. He and Linn are missed in our neighborhood, years ago we had great times together. He was a great friend and family man. Rest in peace John.

I never met John in person, but I collaborated with him on a project along with another collaborator. We communicated mostly via emails. That speaks volumes about how easy to work with him. He is always thoughtful and kind when we discussed the research work together. I was saddened to hear he is no longer with us. The research community mourns the loss of a dedicated scientist and dear friend. Please rest in peace.

I was a student in his class last year. He was such a great professor! His class and himself were very inspiring and changed my life. I will miss him very much.

Dr Richie was a wonderful person and mentor. I worked with him briefly in research, and he was uniquely warm, caring, and always encouraging, and truly invested in helping students. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

I wish to express my sincerest condolences on John's passing. He was a remarkable scientist, and a treasured consultant to the Orentreich Foundation. His experience, wise counsel, and kindness will be sorely missed.

Dr. Richie was one of my favorite professors at COM. I learned a lot in his class and still use the knowledge I learned in my work and everyday life. He will be missed. Sending warm thoughts to his family and friends.

It is extremely unfortunate and sad that this happened to John. He surely was the most phenomenal person I have ever encountered in my life. He enlightened the lives of people around him both intellectually and personally. I am very fortunate that he trained me, and there are still many lessons I can learn from my memories with him. My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family and friends.
