Not sure what to say?

Dear Dottie, Molly & Kaitlyn, I am so sorry for your loss. I will never forget spending time with your family (as your babysitter), and witnessing the deep and beautiful bond between you all. It was and still is very inspiring to me, and I´m honored to have known you. Sending my love from Austria, Christine

John was a warm, easy going, open, humorous, trusting man. I knew him at Lillick where I worked in the summer of 1979 and from 1980 to 1984. I was involved with John as my partner in a case representing as plaintiff, a Norwegian hydrofoil operator in 1983 and 1984. It became evident in May 1984 that the defendant (Rockwell International) was now to take depositions throughout the summer in Norway. John had the faith in me, a 4th year associate to entrust me to go to Norway for the summer...

I just heard of John´s passing. I was a lowly associate at Lillick from 1980 to 1982. However, John left a profound impact on me. He was the coolest lawyer I ever met. I refer to him to this day even though I never saw him after 1982. One day, after he did not appear in the office the day before, I asked him where he had been that previous day. He said it was his birthday and that you need to keep your birthday special. So sorry to hear about his passing. Again, the coolest lawyer.

So very sorry to read this. John was such a warm, forgiving, appreciative, intelligent and gracious man! I worked for him in a few cases at Lillick, McHose & Charles. A lovely man!

We will miss you Johnny Riddle! So happy I had the honor to meet you and spend time with you in the '80s in Oakland &Berkeley, Ca. Proud to be a family member rest in peace. With love, Gigi Roach Farmer. PS. Seeing your picture John, makes me think of Jim Roach and Graham Roach.... handsome men in our family!
